Vacation is the time to relax and let go. However, taking time off shouldn’t mean taking time off from your healthy diet. While the local chefs would gladly accommodate your dietary requests, it is too easy to give in to Provincetown’s culinary temptations. Fortunately, with our Foodie Tips this problem is easy to address – you will keep your body healthy and still have as much fun as you planned on!
Provincetown Farmers Market is more than a mere opportunity to get hold of freshly picked greens and berries. It is a local forum for passionate Cape Cod locals – producers, merchants and even Provincetown chefs who hunt for a last-minute addition to the dish of the day. Every Saturday 11 am to 4 pm the municipal lot next to the Town Hall comes to life with locals and visitors shopping for Olio Di Melli oils and vinegars, Fromage’a Trois handcrafted mozzarella, Farmer Willies ginger beer and much more. It is right across the street from Gabriel’s, so you can literally walk there in your pajamas!
*Provincetown Farmer’s Market is open from end of May to end of October.
