Dozens of cars line up the parking lot along the beach, and locals and guests wander off with their picnic bags and blankets.

The sun is setting against the backdrop of the Race Point lighthouse on the very tip of Cape Cod. Watch the boats cross the horizon as you sip on a glass of wine.

On Wednesdays and Sundays, Far Lands Provision holds a sunset music series. Enjoy great food, local tunes and the best sunset view on the Outer Cape.

West End of town is quiet and magical in late evenings. It is dark enough to see the smallest sparkles in the sky, yet illuminated enough to peek into the beautiful gardens along the route.

Race Point Sunset With Seals

615914_481491128561758_1858596437_oRace Point Beach is the most dramatic of our local beaches with it’s long expanse of sand dunes and sea. Seals and whales are the regular guests here, and you can often spot them in the distance.

From Race Point, you can see a sailboat or ship making its way to Stellwagen Bank, Boston or our harbors. The beach is also home to Race Point Light Station which is accessible by four wheel drive.

If you don’t have a dune vehicle, call Art’s Dune Tours. They offer a wonderful sunset experience and depart daily just a few blocks from The Provincetown Hotel at Gabriel’s. Check out our Art’s Dune Tour Special in May and October for a great deal!
