The fireworks show starts promptly at dusk, usually around 5 pm, so aim to get down by the water before then to secure a prime viewing spot.

The plunge aims to raise $25,000 during the event, with proceeds going towards the Center for Coastal Studies’ shark ecology research program and contributing to their important work studying the seasonal patterns of white sharks along Cape Cod to minimize the harmful interaction of sharks and oceangoers.
